DUNHAM TECHNIQUE: (Leslie Arbogast) A blend of Afro-Haitian and Modern Dance created by Katherine DunhamClasses consists of the basic Dunham Barre, isolations, and progressions with drum accompaniment.  The classes also consist of choreography taken from varied cultures around the world.

HIP-HOP: (Ashi) High energy blend of Hip-Hop, funk, and jazz movements.  Class consists of warm-up, isolations, conditioning, stretching, and a hot combination.  Think you can move like the dancers in music videos?  Come give this class a try.

HIP-HOP/STREET JAZZ: (Ashley) This class will focus on performance skills in hip hop & street jazz necessary for stage and video.  Be prepared to learn about balancing presentation, clean choreography, and proper execution of movement.  Most importantly, this class will be challenging and fun!

JAZZ: (Keith Williams) The class explores the many elements of jazz dance.  From its roots in Afro-Cuban culture, the class journeys to Musical Theatre, Funk, Soul, and a Taste of Hip-Hop.  Jazz warm-ups, isolations, and challenging combinations help to develop solid technique, musicality, performance, and a great cardio workout.

JAZZ FUSION: (Sara Burke) An up tempo stylized form of movement with original choreographed routines and progressions.  Jazz fusion incorporates African and Latin (Samba) dance routines with drum accompaniment.

MODERN DANCE: (Cecil Slaughter) A modern dance class based in the dance technique of Lester Horton.  This technique includes Horton’s approach to descents and ascents, stretches and strengtheners, falls, progressions, and elevation studies.  The class is designed to increase strength and flexibility.

PILATES: (Leslie Arbogast) Pilates-based mat class consists of a series of carefully executed movements that strengthen, lengthen, and tone muscles, and increase flexibility.

SALSA: (Lauren Wilmore) Salsa is one of the most popular social dances in the world with influences from Latin American, Europe and the United States.  You will fall instantly in love with the hot rhythms of the music and the sensuality and energy of the dance.  In our beginning Salsa class studens will learn the basic fundamentals of Salsa along with the philosophy.  You will be looking great on the dance floor before you know it.

YOGA: (Jane Fitzgerald, Kathy Simon) Iyengar Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga.  It focuses on the structural alignment of the physical body through the development of asanas.  Through the practice of a system of asanas, it aims to unite the body, mind and spirit for health and well being.
